DYSPHEMISM AND ITS RELATED PHENOMENA: GENERAL AND SPECIFIC ASPECTS
Abstract
This paper discusses dysphemism and other related linguistic phenomena. The present study attempts to outline the sociolinguistic and pragmatic functions of dysphemism in different social contexts by using both qualitative and quantitative analyses, evaluating implications for both communication effectiveness and social dynamics.
