AN ANALYSIS OF IMPACT OF BIOPHILIC PRACTICES ON HOTEL PERFORMANCE IN DELHI HOTELS
Abstract
Abstract: Biophilic practises entails the incorporation of natural elements into the built environment, including as green roofs, living walls, and water features, in order to provide a location that is more environmentally friendly and beneficial to the health of its occupants, both customers and workers. This study investigates the correlation between biophilic practices and hotel performance in Delhi focusing on metric guest satisfaction. This underscores the importance of biophilic practices for enhancing hotel success.Through a combination of qualitative and quantitative methods, the study involved the administration of a survey questionnaire to 162 hotel employees, employing convenience sampling to select participants.This paper contribute to a growing body of literature supporting the impact of Biophilic practices in the hospitality sector and can guide hotels in developing strategies with an environmental and guest oriented focus. Data analysis includes multiple regression analysis to analyse impact of Biophilic practices on hotel performance. The study recommends the incorporation of biophilic design as a core component of hotel management strategies in order to create inviting and comfortable environment, promote sustainability and potentially improve hotel performance. The analysis revealed that eco friendly trends had a significant positive impact on hotel performance.
